Language Arts:

• 1st Period:
• Finished reading Priscilla and the Wimps and discussed the literal and figurative meanings throughout the story.
• 2nd Period:
• Finished reading Priscilla and the Wimps. Discussed the meaning of a gang during the 1950's (the setting of our story) and gangs today.

Math:

• 1st Period:
  • Students finished Order of Operations test
  • Students started Variables and Expressions.
• 2nd Period:
• • Students took their Order of Operations assessment.

Science:

• 5th and 6th: Measurement Assessment 

Social Studies:

• 5th Period:
  • Finished comparing and contrasting North Carolina to Ecuador.
  • Started "5 Themes Identification" activity.
• 6th Period:
  • Finished the Geographical theme: Human/Environment Interaction.

    •  9 choices are given (based on Multiple Intelligences) on the choice board.
    • Students are to complete 3 (1st period) or 4 (2nd period) activities out of the 9.
