Language Arts:
- Students continued learning techniques to use before they read a story. This will help increase comprehension.
- We discussed our new story, "Priscilla and the Wimps".
- Students were introduced to their vocabulary and completed a "Vocabulary Rating Chart." This chart indicated if they had any prior knowledge about each word.
- Students will revisit their chart after we read the story and complete vocabulary activities and rate their level of knowledge again.

- 1st Period: Students viewed an Order of Operation PowerPoint and practiced this skill.
- 2nd Period: Students continued practicing Powers and Exponents. Based on observation, students need more practice before assessing.
- 5th Period: Students continued working on measuring mass in grams using the Triple Beam Balance.
- 6th Period: Students were introduced to the Triple Balance Beam.
