- Word Hunt: Students skimmed their story and highlighted the vocabulary words.
- Students read paragraphs 1-4 of our story.
- Setting the Purpose: After reading paragraphs 1-4, what is the Exposition of the story?
- Introduced and explained "Think-Tac-Toe" (see explanation below).
- 2nd Period:
- Finished charting the definitions of "Priscilla and the Wimps" vocabulary.
- Discussed prefixes, suffixes, word origins, etc.
- Introduced and explained "Think-Tac-Toe" (see explanation below).

- 1st Period: Students completed an Order of Operations puzzle.

- 6th Period: Students added assignments to their Interactive Notebook. Students also self-assessed their knowledge of Length.

- 5th Period: Students discussed and completed activities based on the Geographical theme: MOVEMENT.

- 9 choices are given (based on Multiple Intelligences) on the choice board.
- Students are to complete 3 (1st period) or 4 (2nd period) activities out of the 9.
- These activities are due FRIDAY, October 1st

- SCIENCE TEST ON THURSDAY!!
- This test will assess length (cm), mass (g) and volume (ml).
