Team Macaw had another great day in 6th grade!!! We are very proud of your students and their behavior!!! Here are some examples of positive behavior:
- A teacher got hurt in the cafeteria. Our students were very well behaved when EMS arrived. They showed great concern and care for the injured teacher.
- Students are showing great self-control and behavior in the hallways. They are quiet and orderly.
What We Did Today:
- Students were given the EFMS Handbook. We will continue to go over this tomorrow.
- The Raven Pledge was discussed (see below). Students began a foldable activity. This activity allows them to show, through pictures or words, what the pledge means to them.
- Students were assigned locks and lockers. They did a great job opening their locks and organizing and placing items in their locker. We had 3 successful locker breaks today!!!
Homework:
- Students need to return all forms (see yesterday's blog entry) and their Wednesday folder if they did not do so today.
- Please send .50 with your child, for their lock, if they have not already turned it in.
- Students who have not already chosen the book they will read for Language Arts homework, need to do so by Monday, 8/30/10.
Raven Pledge:
Ravens are in the right place, doing the right thing, at the right time, with the right people!
Thank you again for all your continued support!!! If you need anything, please feel free to e-mail and.or call us anytime!!!
-Mrs. Autry and Mrs. Horne
